Activist Seasons

As of March 18, 2001

As the seasons have changed, Activist Summer became Activist Fall, and then Activist Winter and Spring. Our autumn line-up commenced with a colorful "Creative Culture Jamming/Creative Action Design" workshop facilitated by Helen Matthews, Eric Lidell, and David Solnit at the recent Student Power Conference.

Proposed Activist Fall and Winter workshop topics included:

  • Non-violence Training
  • Alternative Media Projects
  • "Salting" (union organizing from the inside)
  • The Relationship of Animal Rights to Social Justice
  • FTAA Teach-ins
  • The Art of Public Speaking
  • Outreach

Activist Seasons is an incredible way to connect with other young activists around Boston. We encourage everyone in the student activist community to take advantage of this informative and inspiring workshop series.

Pass the word along to your friends, your organizations, and your fellow organizers!
