April 16 - the Boston Global Action Network, in its first mass mobilization involving extensive logistics work, transported over 300 participants to the A16 Mobilization for Global Justice against the IMF and World Bank in Washington, D.C. A16 would prove to be the Seattle of Spring 2000 and a major sign that the global justice movement that had emerged in the streets of Seattle was not a fluke.
