Samvedna: Outline of Future Programme

A plan has been prepared under the aegis of Samvedna for one year. The plan is as follows:

Planning and progress in reconstruction of villages to end the existing apathy among the people.
To organise camps for voluntary work in those villages which are badly affected and where external assistance is not being received. The voluntary work will mainly concentrate on assisting in the construction of temporary and permanent houses.
To ensure that material donated by various institutions reaches the most needy earthquake affected people, and fostering self-help among them.
To make arrangements for obtaining resources from fellow workers to cover the costs of organising voluntary work camps and for meeting food and travel expenses of the workers managing the programme.
To initiate activities of compassionate and affected people for a cohesive movement against misconceived government policies.
