Assisting Organisations

(1). Shri Devendra Bahuguna

Will voluntarily organise programme for one year.

(2). Chetna Andolan

The Chetna Andolan will also actively participate in the programme for one year. It is at present undertaking a campaign at the village level against corruption and right to information and it will extend assistance to the programme of Samvedna from outside and also internally.

(3). Astha Parivar

This is a platform for committed youth for the creation of an alternative society. They will join the Samvedna programme to work along the youth for providing assistance and relief, in particular it will motivate the youth to do voluntary work for the most needy people in the affected area.

(4). Independent Workers

Compassionate friends who will work independently and assist in voluntary and other relief work. They will mainly constitute people working in the social field and those studying in schools and colleges.

(5). Parvatiya Nav Jeevan Mandal Silyara

Devendra Bahuguna, who is associated with this, is organising the programme for one year, and others are also giving their time and will continue to do so in future.

In addition to the foregoing, various compassionate friends and organisations are already assisting in the above programme. Among these, an organisation called 'Prakriti' is involved in the conservation of the resources of the Himalayas and also in the field of education with SIDH. The Doon School and the Himalaya Trust are also extending support. In addition there are also various people and organisations whose names have not been mentioned here.
