CREATIVE RESISTANCE
An afternoon of speakers, theater and music and art workshops, and
performance.
Film show: ³Guns and Greed².
Help build a creative movement against global militarization and
economic injustice.
Show your solidarity with protests against the School of the Americas in
Fort Benning, Georgia, and against the meetings of the IMF and World
Bank in Ottawa, Canada.
Did you know?
· The U.S. Army trains terrorists in Georgia, using your tax dollars.
· The International Monetary Fund and World Bank worsen world poverty.
· The war in Afghanistan is likely to cause mass starvation by
obstructing famine relief.
· These apparently distinct issues have important connections between
them.
· You can resist creatively, through street theater, visual arts, and
music.

Directions to Union United Methodist Church:
Take Orange Line to the Massachusetts Avenue stop. Exit station. Go
right down Massachusetts Avenue. Walk to the corner & turn left on
Columbus Ave. Union United Methodist Church is 4 blocks up on the left,
#485 Columbus Avenue, on the block between Rutland Sq. & W. Newton St.
You can also take the #1 bus & ask the driver to drop you at Columbus
Ave.
